Minecraft Adventures offers students ages 7-9 years old an exciting introduction to science and technology topics. Through both direct instruction and exploration in Minecraft: Education Edition, students learn and complete STEM challenges in our custom-designed Minecraft worlds. Minecraft: Education Edition is a place of unlimited opportunities for students to change, build, create, experiment, communicate, and learn together with a teacher's structure and guidance.
In Minecraft Adventures: Part 1, kids explore and problem-solve to complete challenges in climatology, ecology, and life sciences. Students might build a solar electricity-generation plant, explore a seed bank, create a seismic sensor, or create their own underwater farm!
In Minecraft Adventures: Part 2, kids explore and problem-solve to complete challenges in biology, technology, and space. Students might build a "smart" city, learn about ancient technology, shrink down to live with and learn from ants, and even go to the moon! ***NOTE: Part 1 is NOT a pre-requisite for Part 2.
In addition to acquiring new knowledge, students will practice and strengthen the following competencies in a relaxed but structured setting with gentle guidance and coaching from experienced instructors:
