Description

Engineering Challenges with Lego Mindstorms offers students an opportunity to explore creative problem-solving and strengthen teamwork and communication skills while broadening their knowledge of robotics and engineering.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
  • Each day, instructors will provide a different prompt, and students will then be tasked to work together to come up with solutions using Lego Mindstorms EV3. 
  • Throughout, instructors pose open-ended questions to stimulate critical thinking and creativity, facilitate discussion, and provide support for group problem-solving.

In addition to acquiring new knowledge, students will practice and strengthen the following competencies:

  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Critical thinking

RECOMMENDED AGES: 10+ years
