In Coding Robotics, students take the next step after Foundations of Robotics by building more advanced LEGO robots — like sorting machines, self-driving cars, and rescue arms—while learning to program them using visual programing framework (aka Scratch). Each session focuses on building and coding robots with several motors and sensors to complete real-world inspired tasks. Students use loops, conditionals, and sensor feedback to control movement, detect obstacles, and respond to the environment. They debug their programs, adjust mechanical designs, and learn to break down complex problems into steps. This course bridges mechanical engineering and visual programming, giving students the skills and confidence to build smarter, more capable robots before moving on to advanced robotics and Python coding.
